Green PPA between Better Energy and Lundbeck ensures the construction of a new solar park
Global pharmaceutical company Lundbeck has entered a 7-year power purchase agreement (PPA) with Better Energy to ensure 100 percent renewable electricity consumption. As a result of the agreement, Better Energy will build a new solar park and bring more new renewable electricity into the Danish grid.

Better Energy and Industriens Pension join in historic major investment in new Danish solar parks
A new partnership between the Danish pension fund Industriens Pension and Better Energy means that more than 400,000 Danes will now become co-owners of new solar parks in Denmark, and probably Poland as well. The total investment amounts to close to DKK 4 billion, making it the largest Danish solar investment to date and a breakthrough for the solar market in Denmark.

Better Energy launches solar park designed for lowlands
In Vordingborg Municipality, Better Energy is establishing a new pilot project to demonstrate how future solar parks can be built on restored wetlands. This will allow a double effect on CO2 reductions by producing green energy and restoring carbon-rich lowland areas to wetlands.

A significant three-figure million DKK loan will accelerate the expansion of green energy capacity and the displacement of fossil fuels. Northern Europe’s largest solar plant is being built without subsidies
The new solar plant has a capacity of over 200 MW with a total electricity production corresponding to the energy consumption of approximately 127,000 Danes. The solar plant is in Holstebro Municipality, where there are about 59,000 residents.

Better Energy has signed a PPA with Google
